Company hierarchy not reflected on UI

Company RSK Group Limited has 3 levels of company hierarchy:

1. RSK Group Limited

   1. RSK Belgium

      1. RSK Benelux

      2. RSK Europe

      3. etc.

   2. RSK France

      1. ADEV

      2. etc.

Steps to occurrence

1. company has a 2-level structure before, that worked as expected

2. then IE sets up in Admin a new company hierarchy, with 3 levels

3. this change has not been correctly reflected.

   1. In Monitor company switcher, all level 3 subcompanies were categorized into one of the level 2 subcompanies

   2. However, filtering worked as per the correct company setup in Admin

4. Same behavior on test & prod.

Take-away: Seemingly, there’s a UI bug where the switches does not reflect the correct company hierarchy for 3-levels.
